Megan Bolton has been involved in the Gymnastics field for 3 decades to date and has greatly influenced the gymnastics and acrobatics industry over the past 22 years. Her contribution to the world stage and her teaching methods in the health and performing arts industry is well sort after and she continues to successfully implement the movement of gymnastics and acrobatics into the fitness industry and creative performance through training, mentoring and coaching.
Megan began her career in gymnastics and acrobatics at the age of 4yrs, competing in gymnastics from 6 years of age. Megan was selected from the Elite Artistic Gymnastics stream to represent the Australian Acrobatics Gymnastics Team at the age of 10. Megan then represented NSW at the National Championships and competed for Australia in Hawaii at her first Junior World Championships in 1997 at age 12. Megan then went on to represent Australia in acrobatics at the Junior World Championships in Warsaw Poland in 1999, the Hungarian Open in Budapest 2000, the 17th FIG Senior World Championships in Wroclaw Poland 2000, qualifying for the World Games in Japan , and the 20th FIG World Championships in Coimbra Portugal 2006 .
This is the highest number of World Championship representations by any Australian acrobat. Her finest placing in this sport was 5th in the world at the 2000 Senior World Championships. Within Australia she ranked No.1 between 1997-2006. In 2017 Megan returned to the international stage and competed at the 2017 World Games, under the World Rock N Roll Confederation. She is now the Ambassador for the dance sport of Acrobatic Rock n Roll in Australia. Megan’s dedication and success within gymnastics and acrobatics sports has lead her to many opportunities including international performing and touring shows such as: The Wiggles, Adrenalin Productions stunt shows, countless TV Commercials, national live shows and corporate performances.
